Therefore this bit is perfect for horses that do not tolerate conventionally shaped bits due to the pressure on the tongue and react with head-tossing and the like. The loose ring means a greater mobility of the bit in the mouth. The loose ring bit is therefore a bit for horses that prefer a “more mobile” bit in their mouth. The ring runs very evenly in the copper sockets and, due to the better durability, increases the working life of the bit considerably.
