Jump’In

One Jump’In Rope and Leather Draw Reins are made of half flat leather and half nylon rope which allows the reins to slide better through the bit rings. At the ends there are two carabiners which allow the draw reins to be attached to the girth. They can be opened with a buckle.

This overcheck, widely used by show jumping riders, determines the level of raising of the neckline. Never taut like classic snaffle reins, they only taut if the horse raises its neck excessively and passes over the rider’s hand. Proper use of the draw reins keeps the angle of the head and neck open, they do not in any way allow a horse to be put on the hand.
