Helite

The Zip’in airbag is made for riders who want to combine style and safety. The airbag can be integrated in a few seconds into all Zip’in compatible exteriors to make it invisible (Helite, Oscar & Gabrielle, Dada Sport).

Helite was the first to develop this airbag system which offers complete protection of vital areas: cervical, back, pelvis, sacrum, thorax. Inflation is ultra-fast (100 ms) to be safe before impact on the ground.

The shape of our HELITE airbag allows it to contain a large volume of gas for optimal pressure and effectively absorbs shocks.

This vest can be worn in any discipline. It is sold ready to use with 1 gas cartridge, 1 stirrup leather strap, 1 Allen key and 1 manual.

CE CERTIFICATION – Our airbags are certified by the CRITT Sport Loisirs laboratory, a recognized and independent organization which certifies protective equipment for riders.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE ZIP’IN AIRBAG

You must not wear the Zip’in airbag alone. It must be associated with a Zip’in compatible jacket, vest or jacket.

You must not wear the Zip’in airbag under any clothing. In the event of a fall, the airbag will not be maintained correctly, will not inflate optimally and therefore you will not be well protected. It must be associated with a Zip’in compatible jacket, vest or jacket.

Helite airbags are equipped with a mechanical system to prevent accidental triggering. The traction force required to trigger the airbag is between 20 and 30 kg depending on the size.

If the rider forgets to detach when getting off his horse, he will feel a very strong tension on his jacket. Like the seat belt in the car, attaching and detaching the strap quickly becomes a habit.

Size guide

The first step is to choose the size of your Zip’in airbag by referring to our size chart.

Depending on your measurements, several sizes may fit you. Your choice will then turn to the one that suits you best (curved, wide, etc.).

Tip: Measuring the length of your back is important and can guide you in choosing the size of your airbag. Indeed, choosing the right size will allow you to have optimal protection.

The second step is to choose your Zip’in compatible exterior. ATTENTION, you must take the same size as your Zip’in airbag. For example, a size S Zip’in airbag must be combined with a size S Airshell vest.

Each person has their own morphology, our size charts are presented for informational purposes. We recommend that you do not wear an airbag if you weigh less than 35 kg.
