MATERIALS FOR OPTIMAL SAFETY
The outer shell of the Shadowmatt is made of polycarbonate, a material used, among other things, for high-end motorcycle helmets. It is covered with matt anti-scratch paint.
The inner shell is made of polystyrene with variable density ensuring better dissipation of the energy produced in the event of an impact.
STABILITY
The internal comfort pad (liner) of the “shape memory” type guaranteeing constant thickness over the years of use, as well as the semi-rigid chinstrap, eliminate any risk of the helmet tipping over in the event of violent movement.
This internal comfort pad is removable thanks to a clip system much more resistant than scratch/velcro.
It can therefore be washed at will in order to be able to constantly wear a clean and well-smelling helmet…
PERFECT SIZE ADJUSTMENT FOR UNMATCHED COMFORT
An in-depth anthropomorphic study made it possible to design an internal shell shape generating unequaled comfort.
3 shell sizes are available: S, M, L.
Each shell can accommodate 4 to 5 internal comfort pads of different sizes in order to obtain a perfect fit to the rider’s head.
The size grid offered goes from 52 to 61.
Thanks to this system it is also possible to support the growth of a young rider.
POWERFUL INTERNAL AIRFLOW
Equipped with a front air intake, the Shadowmatt helmet provides exceptional ventilation.
Fresh air is channeled from the front inlet to the extractors located at the back of the helmet, around the comfort pad, which prevents perspiration.
This concept generates a powerful internal air flow by avoiding the use of visible and therefore unsightly air inlets: the equestrian elegance is preserved without banishing technicality and comfort.
The Shadowmatt is available in black, blue and brown (on request).
The Shadowmatt helmet is available with the dressage chinstrap option: this option allows women who wear the bun not to be embarrassed by wearing the helmet. This chinstrap is therefore 2.5cm shorter to allow the passage of the bun.
