MATERIALS FOR OPTIMAL SAFETY
The outer shell of the XJ is made of pure carbon fiber, a composite material providing an unbeatable strength/lightness ratio.
The inner shell is made of polystyrene with variable density, ensuring better dissipation of the energy produced in the event of an impact.
STABILITY
The internal comfort pad (liner) of the “shape memory” type, guaranteeing constant thickness over the years of use, as well as the semi-rigid leather chinstrap eliminate any risk of the helmet tipping over in the event of violent movement.
This internal comfort pad is removable thanks to a clip system much more resistant than scratch/velcro.
Made of breathable synthetic material with high moisture absorption and evaporation performance, it is completely removable and machine washable at 30°C.
PERFECT SIZE ADJUSTMENT FOR UNMATCHED COMFORT
An in-depth anthropomorphic study made it possible to draw a shape of internal shell generating a shoe with unequaled comfort.
2 shell sizes are available (M and L).
Each hull can accommodate 5 to 6 internal comfort pads (liner) of different sizes in order to obtain a perfect fit to the rider’s head.
The size grid goes from 53 to 61.
Thanks to this system it is also possible to support the growth of a young rider.
INCREDIBLE INTERNAL AIRFLOW
Equipped with two front air inlets, the XJ helmet provides exceptional ventilation. Fresh air is channeled both from the front inlet under the crest as well as through the channel obtained through the unique concept of no contact on the rider’s forehead.
Cool air expels hot air to the extractors located at the back of the helmet, around the comfort pad (liner), making it impossible to sweat!
This concept generates an incredible internal air flow by avoiding the use of visible and therefore unsightly air inlets.
Two types of comfort pad (liner) are available:
• Liner “Closed” (closed at the forehead): optimizes stability
• “Open” liner (open at the forehead): optimizes airflow
